Robert Scott Berman, 47, native of Plainfield and resident of Old Bridge, was a loving, honorable, kind, and generous son, brother, and friend. He was the first person to be by your side if you needed help and freely gave his support without passing judgment. He was happiest when he could do good things for the people he loved and was a gift to everyone who loved him. He had many talents and actually helped create one of the first huge Chanukah menorahs that Chabad erects each year at the holiday. Son of the late Daniel Berman of Plainfield, Robert will be sorely missed by his many friends and his family: mother, Sandra Berman of Plainfield, sister, Ellen Berman of Woodbridge, uncle Jules Fromm of North Brunswick, cousin Keif Fromm of Hillsborough, cousin Keira Fromm of Chicago, aunt Jana Scher of Hardwick, NJ, aunt Phyllis Berman and Arthur Waskow of Philadelphia, PA, uncle Fred and Kaitie Sher of Fairlawn, cousin Morissa Sher of Philadelphia, PA, and cousin Josh Sher of Woodland Hills, CA.
